JUNE 3, 2010: Lots going on. The big announcement is our collaboration with PelicanBayPokerClub.com, which takes its name from one of IVP's most popular designs. PelicanBayPokerClub.com is an exclusive, online poker community offering a place for people who love poker to come together to learn, share and benefit. It will offer special deals to members and IVPdesigns.com is the only place that offers Pelican Bay Poker Club branded products! So check out our new Pelican Bay Store. More products are on the way.
May 20, 2010: In all the excitement about things going on at IVP, we don't want you to forget that George Martorano spends every night in a cell, same as he has for 27 years. George is serving life-without-parole for a first time, non-violent offense. This just isn't right. IVP is a business and like all businesses we want to succeed. But we never want to forget that our success can help lead to freedom for someone who deserves a break. Help us free George!
May 16, 2010: Still more retailer news landed this week with Shoe Gallery Miami picking up IVP for sale. First Union LA, then Blends LA and now we are in one of South Florida's top-shelf boutiques, all in 3 weeks. But we are just getting started. In the coming weeks IVP will be announcing a series of collaborations and sponsored events. We will also be releasing new products. So stay tuned.
MAY 7, 2010: It just keeps getting better. Just one week after we landed in Union, we landed in another of LA's premium boutiques, Blends LA. IVP is on the march. Go get some.
MAY 1, 2010: Yes, that's right. FREE SHIPPING from now until the end of the month. This translates to a 10-15% savings for most buyers. Of course you can also save on shipping costs if you buy at UNION LA, one of America's elite streetwear boutiques. Please be aware that many of our tees are very limited in quantity. In some cases specific colors and size selections may only have a few dozen left. So get them before they are gone!
APRIL 27, 2010: We are please to announce that IVP Designs is now available for purchase at Union LA in Los Angeles, California. If you know fashion, you know that Union LA is amongst the elite streetwear retailers in the world. And we are proud that they have chosen to offer IVP products. A special thanks to our fans for proving our brand works and helping make this happen. Not bad for a little company that has been selling for less than a year.
April 10, 2010: Thank you Steve!March 23, 2010: We have a Winner! Er, winners!
Congratulations to Kevin Sample of Texas and Josh Brewer of Ontario Canada, the winners of the SoJones.com Coleman Creative Writing give-away. And of course thank you to the good people at SoJones.com for their terrific profile of George Martorano and IVP. Both Kevin and Josh will receive a Coleman Creative Writing tee and we hope both will write a letter to Attorney General Holder on George's behalf. Help us free George!
March 12, 2010: Help Us Free George Martorano
Some interesting things in the works at IVP, including several collaborations and many new designs on deck. More will be revealed soon, but we can tell you we have a backlog of about 15 designs and more in the works. Nevertheless we are not taking our eye off the ball; George Martorano is what we want to focus on. In addition to the SoJones.com article about George posting today, we will be doing more press and more give-aways of our Coleman Creative Writing tee. Can't afford to buy one? No problem. Just visit one of the many web sites that are giving them away for free. But please, help us help George. Write a letter, send a fax, make a difference.
February 22, 2010: Free George
I just got back from the MAGIC apparel trade show in Las Vegas. IVP didn't have a booth this year (maybe next year?) but it was very exciting to walk the floor and see the diversity of products being offered. I wore my Coleman Creative Writing tee both days and got many comments and questions. All positive. Based on the conversations I had it was very clear that our designs stand out from the pack. The bulk of the tees I saw were either Ed Hardy style (ornate, tattoo-style art) or commercially licensed designs (everything from the 3 Stooges to The Simpsons). Not much in between. But it's when people asked about George Martorano and the origins of our brand that they get excited. So I think we are onto something special. I hope you agree. Don't forget to check out the Coleman Creative Writing and other tees in our store and please take the time to write a letter for George. You can make the difference.
